How to be a DATA ANALYST?? A step-by-step guide

DATA is everywhere whether you are seeing ads related to your search history or Youtube showing you the videos related to the videos you watch.

How all these can be possible ??

How big companies make strategies to make most out of their products/Services??

Well, all these can happen because of the Previous Data. Data Analyst clean, filter, make the data in a readable form or understandable form (such as pie cart, bar carts etc) with the help of Data visualization tools and help in decision-making by understanding the trend or behavior.

Do you need CS degree to become a Data Analyst.

The Answer is NO. 

To become a Data Analyst you must learn the following:-

These are the basics you must learn after which you should upgrade your knowledge

• MS Excel
• SQL
• PYTHON/R (Programming language)
• POWER BI and/or TABLEAU (Data Visualization Tools)

WHY MS EXCEL: 

    You must start with MS Excel cause whether you are working as an assistant or at higher level you will surely be using excel at a point of time during your work. You must have a good knowledge of MS Excel if you really want to start you career in Data Analytics.

SQL:

    SQL is the main topic of interviewer. You should spend a good time on learning SQL 

Understand how it works how you can play with SQL queries to get your work done. also attempt questions on website like W3School, Hackerrank etc. 

PYTHON:

    Ok you should start with the basics of python and don't need to go such at an advance level cause you are not going to be a Python developer or something you should focus more on libraries- numpy, Pandas and Metplotlib.

POWER BI and/or TABLEAU:

    These tools are widely used to make Data understandable. 

Final Steps:

• Make some projects.
• Build Your resume and portfolio
• Start using Linkdin and other websites for job.
• Apply for multiple jobs and simultaneously don't stop learning, learn and practice more and more.
